Green cardamom (Elettaria cardamomum) is the dried fruit of a herbaceous plant native to the Indian subcontinent. It's known as the "Queen of Spices" due to its aromatic properties and premium price. Radiance Overseas sources premium green cardamom from Kerala and Karnataka, particularly the Idukki district of Kerala, known as the world's finest cardamom growing region. Kerala is India's main cardamom-growing state, and Idukki is the key district.
