About World Spice Congress

World Spice Congress is the global spice trade forum hosted biennially by APEDA and Spices Board India. The Congress rotates across major Indian spice-producing cities (Hyderabad, Goa, Madurai, Mumbai) and brings together 500+ international delegates including spice processors, oleoresin manufacturers, global trade buyers, and Spices Board India officials.

Each WSC edition focuses on a current global spice trade theme — sustainability, traceability, organic certification, food-safety compliance, or digital trade. Radiance Overseas has participated in select editions as a delegate, including 2018 (Madurai) and 2022 (Hyderabad).

World Spice Congress Venues

World Spice Congress rotates across India's major spice-producing centres. Past editions: 2014 Goa, 2016 Hyderabad, 2018 Madurai, 2020 (postponed), 2022 Hyderabad. Future editions are organized by APEDA in coordination with the host city Spices Board chapter.

Venues are typically 5-star hotel convention centres (HICC Hyderabad, Madurai Convention Hall, etc.) — different from trade-fair-style halls. The format is conference + exhibition + B2B meetings rather than open trade-show floor.
