Soya bean (Glycine max) is a high-protein, high-oil legume and the main raw material for soybean oil, soybean meal, soy flour, tofu, soy milk and textured soy protein. Radiance Overseas supplies whole soya beans from Madhya Pradesh, India's largest soybean-producing state, in two grades: food grade (machine-cleaned and sortexed; protein 36% min, oil 18% min, moisture 11% max) and crushing/feed grade (protein 35% min, oil 18% min, moisture 12% max). India does not permit commercial cultivation of GM soybean, so Indian soy is non-GM by origin; a non-GMO test report can be supplied per shipment. Whole soya bean is not the same as soybean meal: meal is the solvent-extracted residue after oil removal and carries 46–48% protein (see the soybean meal variant).
Madhya Pradesh is India's largest soybean-producing state, and Radiance Overseas sources from the Indore, Ujjain and Malwa belt.
