The NPOP transaction certificate certifies a single shipment of organic products after inspection by an accredited certification body. It documents product type, quantity, batch number, and shipment date. Different from the NPOP scope certificate, which certifies an operator (producer/processor) at facility level for 12 months. Some certificates also list additional certifications (EU Organic, USDA NOP equivalency) if applicable.
