FDA and FSVP Compliance for US Coffee Importers
Coffee entering the United States is regulated as a food. Radiance Overseas has been an FDA Registered Indian exporter since 2011, and we file FDA Prior Notice for every consignment before it sails. Under FSMA your business needs a Foreign Supplier Verification Program on file — we supply the supplier documentation pack that satisfies it, so your FSVP qualified individual is not chasing paperwork after the vessel arrives.
Each lot ships with a Certificate of Analysis from a NABL-accredited laboratory covering moisture (max 12%), screen size distribution, defect count against ICO standards, ochratoxin A and pesticide residues — the parameters US roasters and green-coffee buyers specify most often. Certificate of Origin, phytosanitary certificate and Coffee Board of India documentation are included as standard.

US Logistics, Ports and Order Sizes
We load at Mundra, JNPT and Chennai and ship CIF to New York/Newark, Savannah, Houston and Los Angeles/Long Beach. Transit is typically 28–35 days to the US East Coast and 30–38 days to the West Coast, with weekly sailings on the major carriers.
Green coffee moves by full container — 1 × 20' FCL is approximately 18–19 MT in 60 kg jute bags, with GrainPro liners available as a moisture barrier. Instant coffee and private-label programmes start at 500 kg, packed in vacuum-sealed 25 kg cartons or 1 MT flexi-bags. We do not quote LCL. Other country desks: Italy, Germany, Canada, Netherlands.
